A New, Streamlined Adoption Experience

As part of our commitment to supporting every step of the academic journey,
we’re reimagining our course material adoption tool to meet the evolving needs
of faculty and department admins.
Faculty and department admins now have the option to use our
improved experience in Follett Adopt (also known as “Discover”) to
submit and approve adoptions. This new experience, which prioritizes
transparency of course material details and a convenient readopt process, includes:
- A cleaner, modern look-and-feel, to reduce time spent submitting adoptions.
- One-click re-adopt –or, adopt new materials by ISBN.
- Clearer course material details—highlighting price, format selection, affordable Access titles, and more.
- Personalized email reminders to help faculty submit on-time adoptions.
- No sign in/no passwords to remember—faculty are logged in via SSO.
The current version of Discover will continue to be available and accessible through 2025, as more enhancements are released.
These new changes are the first of many! We’re excited to continue evolving our course adoption tool in direct response to faculty and admin feedback.
