WESTCHESTER, ILL., Jul 10, 2018 – The University of South Florida (USF) System has chosen Follett Higher Education to manage five campus stores to bring affordable course material options and fresh products to more than 48,500 students. The USF System includes three separately accredited institutions: USF Tampa; USF St. Petersburg; and USF Sarasota-Manatee. Follett will operate the Sarasota-Manatee and New College of Florida Bookstore; the St. Petersburg Bookstore; Health Bookstore; the Bulls Team Store; and the Tampa Bookstore. The stores were previously managed by Barnes & Noble.

With this new partnership between Follett and the USF System, students and faculty will benefit from Follett's expansive inventory of affordable course material choices and digital learning integrations. Cost-saving print options include used books as well as Follett’s textbook rental program that can save students up to 80 percent on titles when compared to purchasing new.
Follett will also offer affordable open educational resources content and courseware through our partnership with Lumen Learning. Additionally, students will have access to a diverse selection of digital learning technologies, including the Follett Discover platform, that help promote anywhere/anytime access to affordable materials within existing campus applications. New store services include Follett’s popular price match program, which helps ensure students get their materials at the lowest cost possible, and their year-round buyback program, which allows students to sell back their used books. Students will be able to use their financial aid to purchase course materials both in-store and online. Beyond course materials, Follett will refresh general merchandise offerings to be a one-stop shop for both classroom and campus life essentials.
